The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) is a program initiated by the Government of India to promote apprenticeship training and facilitate the engagement of students and graduates in industry-related training. The scheme is operated by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) and the Regional Boards of Apprenticeship Training (BOATs) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

- From 17 December 2021 scope of NATS has been extended for General Streams graduates like B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, etc.
- Establishments can register the non-engineering graduates as apprentices in the establishment
- Reimbursement for the non-engineering graduates shall be as per the engineering graduates
