Prevention of Sexual harassment at workplace

About the Programme

As per the provisions of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013, the organizations have to take a series of measures to create the workplace which are free from sexual harassment. Generally, these measures have to be taken by HR departments. Hence the HR Managers and HR officers need detailed training in this regard.

Learning Objectives

After attending this programme, the participants should be able to fully comply with all the provisions of The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013 including:
  • Framing the POSH policy for their organization
  • Forming POSH Committee
  • Facilitating the functioning of POSH Committee
  • Implementing the interim and final recommendations of POSH Committee
  • Publishing the POSH statistics in Annual Report
  • Submitting Annual Return to the Government
  • Segregating the cases to be handled by Internal Committee and Local Committee
  • Taking action against those who violate section 14 and 16.
  • Providing training to PO and members of the committee
  • Taking measures to create awareness about POSH among employees.

Last date: The last date for nomination is 17/5/2025.
Course Fees: Rs. 5900 per person including GST. The fee is inclusive of lunch, tea and course material.
Fees for team participation: If three or more people are attending from the same organization the fees will be Rs. 5400 per person including GST.

Resource Person

Dr. G P Naik is Principal Consultant at Talent Avenues and professor of Human Resource Management. He is a doctorate HR from Canara Bank School of Management Studies, Bangalore University. He has trained more than 300 managers for the compliance of POSH measures.
Previously he was the Head of Learning and Development at Karle Group of Companies, and HR Manager at Bank of Baroda. He has conducted over 380 training programmes for Industries. He has over three decades of experience working as HR generalist, learning and development specialist, management teacher, consultant, trainer and researcher; in reputed organizations like LIC of India, Institute for Social and Economic Change, Bank of Baroda, Bangalore University, M S Ramaiah Institute of Management, Presidency College, BMSCE, BNMIT, Koshys, SGIMS, PESIT, and IFIM Business School.
Dr.Naik has provided training and consultancy services to several reputed organizations like Karnataka Employers’ Association, International Labour Organization, Labour Department of Government of Karnataka, Sasken, Indo-Nissin, BEL, HAL, BEML, NTPC, TVS Motors, GMR, Aditya Birla, Oracle, Madura Coats, Infosys, Capp Systems, Chamundeshwari Sugars, TCE Madurai, Cataler, Sandhar, Indo-MIM, Grasim, TajSats, Persistent Systems, Sasaara Financial Services, and Institute of HRD.
